好累好累！今天的我真的很懒惰... 睡到下午三点才起床的我，真的好累！

很多朋友都在唠叨说我该是时候把我的部落格给复活。我倒是有另一个想法，想把英语和华语的部落格分开。 你觉得呢？

孤单情人节

今年的情人节，是一个人过的...

独自过情人节别有一番感觉。本该甜蜜与窝心的情人节，显得有些灰，有些暗。没有另一个人在身旁的日子，生活中的色彩似乎都离我而去。更讨厌的是，这一天的情人节都塞满了一对一对的情侣，在卖玫瑰花的小贩，而我却是一个人。看见一对又一对的情侣与我擦身而过，不经会替他们感到开心，至少它们不寂寞。心理感触良多，很多是无法利用言语来形容的。

老实说，我也不想把这个Blog变得死气沉沉，看过后的人只能叹息，或感到忧伤。但似乎近期的我，和我身边所发生的事都会让我伤心，难过。

希望吧，希望这只是个过渡期...

The infamous V DAY is around the corner once again!

This year, I'm taking a break from the last year one. No one special to attend to.

Hmmmm.. Maybe, I should take this day to pamper myself? Gd idea?



In any case, it's really been a while since I blogged. Just suddenly feel like blogging cause just another few more days and I'd be out from National Slavery.. =P

I'm really thankful for this 1 year and 10 months, I've grown quite a bit. I've learned to cherish the ones and things around me, not to take them for granted, as well as being thankful for their existence. It's been an emotional roller-coaster for me during this period and a lot of events took place within this short span of time.

It started off with a passion and dream to becoming a pilot for the air force, which became distant when I missed my command school test in the island off the eastern shore due to an injury. Then MCs surrounded me and my days near East Coast became dark and time passed by really slowly. Dad fell ill during this period of time as well, when we came to find out that there has been a tumor that's been sitting inside his brain. Watching my mum constantly visiting the hospital, for both me and my dad was a painful experience. Rushing for Tan Tock Seng to Changi Hospital lasted for 5 days? 7 months past and I saw light once again. Dad was discharged and got back to work real quick. I was also granted the freedom that I desperately needed and was finally able to do what I really enjoyed and wanted. New experiences filled my life with fun and joy and the people that I got to meet led me out of the dark age. Regardless whether it was Chingay, Total Defence, Pride Day, National Day, it was an experience that no one could imagine. The trip to Rockhampton in November was the highlight of the entire 1 year and 10 months. It was almost like a paid trip for all of us to enjoy and perform at the same time. I'm thankful and really grateful to all those who have given a great memory that I'll continue to live on with within this 1 year and half month I am in MDC. Thanks everyone!

Now that this part of my life is almost done, it's time to embark on a brand new journey and creating new memories along the way! =)

Today is the DAY!!

Finally I'm leaving for Rockhampton today! It's been really long since I've been overseas! Really looking forward to it! In any case, don't think you won't hear from me cause I'm in Australia!

In another four more days, I'll be flying off to Australia le! I'm really very excited about the upcoming trip! Totally can't wait!

In any case, before I fly off, met up with Ed and Jie last Saturday as per normal. Haha.. It's like becoming a part of my weekly schedule, but it's always great to meet up with the guys! Went to this new pub, like FINALLY! We moved away from Archipelago for once!

The main reason I wanted to go was cause the day before, me and the MDC guys wanted to head down but it was packed! So I went down with my pals on the folowing day!

I really like how the entire place was designed. Situated on the 3rd floor of Odeon Towers, it has a great view of Raffles City and Raffles Boulevard! With both indoor and outdoor seating, customers can choose to either enjoy the cool of the night, or simply relax in the air-conditioned indoors. With a inhouse DJ playing some down tempo electronic, it really brings out the the feel that Loof wants to provide it's customers with.

Went Bowling the other day at Kallang Bowl located in Leisure Park!!
It's my 2nd time there, and FIRST time bowling!!

I waited for like 2 hrs before bowling, so we went to Old Airport Road for supper.. No photos on that cause we're all to hungry! Didn't get a chance to take pictures of the food and they were all GONE!!!

Speechless..

Today is the first day I'm using a notepad to write out what I wanna say..

Since yesterday night, my throat's been hurting real bad and darn painful. I wish for the pain to go away. So today at work, to prevent my voice from really going, I had to no choice but to start writing.

But thankfully after loads of care for the day, I'm talking once again and hopefully nothing goes wrong for tomorrow's performance.

Just some updates.. Not whinings!

It's been a really busy week for me, having to perform 6 times this week is quite a killer, but to the artiste from MDC, you guys rock man! 2 shows everyday, crazy people man! Dope shit!

Tomorrow I'd be heading to Tekong loh, back to where it all began, where I first started serving my national service, but this time, things are different cause I'll be back there as a performer, no longer a recruit! But I'm gonna be performing for 4 days straight, man, that's really tiring. But I'm sure it's gonna be real fun! Then I've got the upcoming auditions to look forward to! I need to find my under-study!

Oh, forgot to mention that VE went to Orchard the other day for our first purchasing and researching for new costumes and our desperate hunt for 8 identical belts below $20! It's a brand new experience all in all, and really fun to hang out with the guys in Orchard!

已经下了大半天了，未曾停过。哗啦哗啦，不停地下。

总觉得，这场雨似乎跟我的心情相似，就如老天与我一同哭泣，诉说出我的心声。如今，我的心也依旧一滴一滴不停的哭泣，血不停地流出。那未愈合的伤口逐渐扩大，血也不停地跟着雨水落下。原因，我自己最清楚，也最了解，但是我不想说，也不想透露的。

雨，谢谢你，为我哭泣。是时候，该长大了。不要再过于依赖任何人。

Back from jamming, and seriously man, I miss these guys! Haven't met up for a really long time, and it feels real good to be back again! We're all looking forward to more Gigs in the upcoming months! It's always good to have more exposure and stuff like these.

I always remember how I introduced the band name during street fest..

MC: So how did the name Quis come about.
Me: Well, erm... That you've got to ask Wesley, our drummer.. He kinda dreamt of the name Quis and yeah, there you have it, Quis. (Crowd and everyone laughs, Wes just shrugs..)
MC: Okay, so Wesley sleeps, had a dream of the name Quis and the band gets named Quis?
Me: Yeah, that's about it. (Laughs)

Haha, sorry Wes, not trying to suan you man! Just reminiscence of the past!

The band's doing great now too, we've been expanding our repertoire and moving on to more genres! Now that's an achievement.

Jammed at Boon's as usual and bumped into Kunio and 异世界 at the studio too! Jammed with the guys and David drove us to a new Botak Jones outlet opposite Serangoon Stadium. I had no idea there is a new outlet there man. Great food, except they didn't have any options for the side dishes today. Really looking forward to potato salad though.

酒后的我，感觉上更清醒，好像重获新生一般。

酒，是能麻醉神经，让人暂时忘了生活中的不愉快，让人有种得到解脱的感觉。昨晚，我醉了...

好久好久没有喝得那么尽兴，喝得没顾虑，没有任何的牵挂。在舞池中狂舞，挥洒自我，让我整个人都放松了。喝到不行了就到马桶，把一切的不愉快给全都吐出来，然后再按下按钮，把一切的伤心，泪水，统统给冲走。虽然是件痛苦的事，但只要过去了，就能得到解脱。我一边吐，眼泪也从眼角像倾盆大雨，落下了。

伤已渐渐的愈合，忽然发现，我其实也因此放弃了许多。从中，断了几段有可能发芽的友情，也尽量将自己跟外界隔离。当梦醒时，一切显得有些许不值得，但一切以过去，也成定局。

还记得，我第一次喝酒喝得烂醉，是在去年的十一二月，原因也相当接近。看来，我真是喜欢虐待自己，才能让自己从梦中苏醒。

是该醒来了，不能再沉醉于梦境里...

Almost been a month since I blogged le, loads happened but ain't gonna talk about it here.
Yeah..

Upcoming week gonna be super busy and all, National Day Final Preview and the actual Day on 9th August, National Day Observance Ceremony at MINDEF, Istana Open House, National Day Appreciation Dinner... And so many more.. I'm a busy and easily stressed up kid... Yeah

These days, I've been thinking a lot, and I really mean a hell lot. About every single thing in life, from work, to family, to relationship and to how I actually view life. How much my views differ from others and how much we all think alike.

Yes, reading till this point, you'd found out already, it's gonna be a naggy post, but I don't care, just read on if you want to, and if you don't well, it's your choice, not mine.

I feel that many a times, we are not professional at all, as performers. Just a simple instruction to move on stage, people make a hell lot of noise. LIKE HELLO!! You are a performer, you are suppose to look good when you perform. Regardless what you are performing, you must be professional and do what you're told to. There's no such thing as my form of art is superior to others. They are artists so they should be doing this kind of shit. We are all performers for your information so just shut up and do your job.

Next, be thankful for everything in life, I am. After thinking loads these days, I'm thankful for all I have, especially my vocation in army. I'm in a place where many dream to be, and I'm from guards, a combat unit, I know how it feels to move from hell up to heaven. So be thankful and stop complaining and asking for more and slacking off. I'm also really thankful for my friends who are always there to lend me a listening ear. They are always there for me as my safety net, breaking my fall. Thanks guys, especially Mindy and Edwin.

Lastly, I wonder why some people are never truthful. There are some stuff that should be told even if the other party did not ask about.

A very packed month indeed...

Just did up my current month schedule and ~faint~, this is a seriously hectic and chaotic month for me... Rehearsals, back to back with it comes shows as well as prep for upcoming month's NDOC '08, no idea what's that but shld be some huge event...

Feels kinda crappy though, but still, I'd prefer to do work rather than none, and with the Band's repertoire increasing rapidly, there's loads more work to be done, and I'm gonna go down to the driving centre this thurs to get my lessons planned out, as well as taking out my guitar and practising my old songs again! Loads of work but, it's full of fun, fun and more fun!

Some recent updates would be, oh yeah, met up with the gang 2 fridays ago, Yuan couldm't make it cause down with fever, Jie had something on and Han was doing OT... So it's just, Ed, Mindy, Nana and myself! The crazy four! LOLX... Went to kinda celebrate me getting into mass comm, went to eat ramen and play pool! Havent played for ages, skills all rusty le!
